In a deal worth €156m, Hystead acquired The Mall in Sofia. Developed in 2010, The Mall, one of largest shopping centers in Bulgaria, offers 52,000 sqm of space. This is the South African fund’s fourth acquisition in the region. JLL acted as an advisor. The Mall is 99 percent leased to tenants like Inditex Group, P&C, H&M and Arena cinema. Hystead previously acquired Delta City in Belgrade and Podgorica and Skopje City Mall in Macedonia.
