Swedish furniture retailer Ikea is planning to open its second Bucharest store on June 24. Located on Theodor Pallady Boulevard, the store will cover 37,000 sqm, 10,000 sqm more sales space than the retailer’s Baneasa location and the largest Ikea store in Southeast Europe. Ikea invested €90m in its new store, which will offer nearly 10,000 products. The retailer will employ 600 people to staff its Pallady store.
