IKEA has completed preparatory work for the start of construction for the AVA Shopping Park, an open-air shopping center located in Bubanj Potok, Serbia. The investment is worth more than 50 million EUR, and laying the foundation stone is planned for the beginning of 2021, the company said in a statement.
AVA Shopping Park, formerly known as the Belgrade Shopping Center or Belgrade Retail Park, will cover more than 30,000 sqm and will bring together international brands in areas such as fashion, sports and technology. It is expected the construction of the park will create 400 new jobs.
