Ikea Romania posted RON 424.479m in sales between September 2014 and August 2015, up 12.37 percent from the previous fiscal year.
“It’s a tremendous increase for Ikea Romania,” said Stefan Vanoverbeke, Ikea’s retail manager for South East Europe. “We are heading towards the opening of the second store Ikea in Bucharest … and we improved our online orders service. The expansion and accessibility will be key elements of growth, and we look forward to seeing the results.”
Ikea reported that 3.24 million shoppers visited its Bucharest store in the 2014/2015 fiscal year. The number of products on offer also increased significantly.
