IKEA will open its long-planned shop on Wenceslas Square in Prague on Sept 20. The 800 sqm shop will focus on showing customers a range of options they have for their living rooms. “By focusing on just one part of our offering, our designers have more room for creativity and can present IKEA products in a different light,” said the company’s project leader Peter Tichý. The pop-up store was supposed to have been opened earlier this summer but work ran into delays. IKEA is looking for new ways to present its goods to customers to supplement the four stores it operates in the Czech Republic.
