IKEA Timisoara, the third store opened by the Swedes from IKEA in Romania, in June 2023, after an investment of EUR 60 million, recorded 792,223 transactions and approximately 35,500 online orders in the first 12 months of operation.
During the mentioned period, over 1 million customers visited the store and 4 million products were sold, from a range of 9,500 home furnishing products.
“If I could summarize this first year in a few words, it would be: fantastic experience for customers, extraordinary team spirit and continuous involvement in the community,” says Nicoletta Muscinelli, Market Manager, IKEA Timisoara.
IKEA Timisoara was designated the most sustainable IKEA store in South-East Europe, BREEAM certified.
