Inter IKEA Centre Group Poland has obtained a permit to extend and revitalize Park Handlowy Bielany in Wrocław. The investor expects to start construction in the near-term. “All stages are being carried out according to the project schedule,” said Dariusz Węglicki, project manager at Inter IKEA Centre Group Poland. He said that modernization work will begin as soon as the Ikea store moves temporarily to a different building.
Park Handlowy Bielany will be expanded to 145,000 sqm of GLA. It currently offers 80,000 sqm of space. The investor hopes to attract 200 new tenants once the expansion is completed.
