Ikea is planning to open a second location in Bucharest this fall. The new store is going up along Theodor Pallady boulevard the eastern part of the capital. The Swedish furniture retailer is investing nearly €90m into the Theodor Pallady store. Ikea also has a store in northern Bucharest’s Baneasa area. The company intends to expand its Romanian network, with plans to open stores in Timisoara, Brasov and Cluj-Napoca in the coming years.
