Ikea is negotiating space at Era Shopping Park Iasi, and an agreement will likely be reached by the end of the year, according to one of the project’s shareholders.
The Swedish retailer has been wanting to open a store in the city of Iasi since 2008.
The plan then was to find space to open a 24,000 sqm store. Currently the company has a store in Bucharest, its only location in the region. Era Shopping Park Iasi is owned by UK Argo Real Estate Opportunities Fund.
