Immochan, the real estate subsidiary of Auchan Group, received BREEAM pre-certification for its Coresi project in Brasov. This will be the first shopping center in Romania to land this certification.
BuildGreen Romania labeled the 55,000 sqm Coresi shopping center “Very Good,” based on the BREEAM Europe Commercial standards, which take into account a project’s impact on the environment. Coresi, which is set to open at the end of next year, is going up on former industrial land. It was designed by architecture firms Sua Kay and Alter Ego.
Immochan is currently operating two retail galleries in Romania — one in Bucharest and the other in Ploiesti. In addition to Coresi, the developer has two other galleries under construction in Bucharest.
