Immofinanz’s Tarasy Zamkowe opens in Lublin

5 March 2015

Immofinanz’s landmark retail project on the Polish market, Tarasy Zamkowe, opened this week in the Lublin city center, adding 38,000 sqm of space in 150 retail units to the local market. The investment is worth PLN 48m. With 350,000 inhabitants in Lublin, the catchment area for the center covers roughly 1 million people. Tarasy Zamkowe was the first retail project to secure BREEAM Excellent certification for its design stage.

“The opening of Tarasy Zamkowe not only hits another milestone, but it is also an excellent example of our business model: the real estate machine. Following the highly profitable sale of Silesia City Center in Katowice in 2013, we have increased our retail space in Poland by more than 71,000 sqm,” said Eduard Zehetner, CEO of Immofinanz Group. The company is also moving forward with its STOP.SHOP. and VIVO! chains, which are currently underway at different locations across the country.
