Inter IKEA Centre Group Poland is set to start expansion work on its Park Handlowy Franowo shopping center in Poznań. A construction permit for the first phase of the project was secured this month. The expansion on Szwedzka Street is expected to add 14,000 sqm of new retail space to the region. The company says it hopes to finish the expansion in 2014. Once completed, Park Handlowy Franowo will offer a total of 80,000 sqm of space in 35 retail units. THe scheme also includes a new parking garage for 1,000 cars.
