A hydroelectric power plant opened in Donji Vrbljani, a village in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Slovenian company Interenergo invested €20m in the 4.9 MW plant, which will supply electricity to 50,000 local households as well as for export. The plant is expected to produce about 21 GW of electricity per hour. Construction broke ground in 2014, with more than 20 local companies involved in the project.
