Investment funds are hoping to grab some exposure to Poland’s huge construction industry, following last year’s collapse in the sector, claims the daily Puls Biznesu. Those builders who managed to stay afloat have become tempting targets for the biggest players, as their prospects remain positive. According to Jarosław Niedzielewski from Investors TFI, a lower number of road investments could have a positive impact on the construction sector, as the prices of the building materials are expected to drop. “Contractors for the biggest energy investments will become more selective when choosing sub-contactors,” says Niedzielewski, while Andrzej Domański of Open Funds TFI claims investors will remain cautious when deploying funds in the sector.
