J&T Real Estate plans to build a shopping center in Bratislava’s Petržalka district, that will target the residents of new residential projects in the district. Petržalka gave its approval to the project in November, when it issued planning permit. The Bosákova shopping center will be built on the corner of Bosákova street and Jantárová cesta near a planned tram station by the reconstructed Starý most (Old bridge). It will offer 6,200 sqm of usable space, half of which will be retail and the other part will be used for parking garage. With the planning permit at hand, J&T could start construction in a matter of months. The developer is building a 24-story residential highrise in the location with 276 flats. Roughly 150 units have been sold since being put on the market in October, with prices ranging between €2,200 to 2,400/sqm.
