A subsidiary of Jacksonville-based Ash Properties, Atlantic Mini Storage of America Inc., has acquired the Southside K-Mart in Jacksonville for $4.3 million. The 106,000 square foot store located at 9600 San Jose Boulevard traded for under $41 per square foot. Jason Ryals of Colliers International represented the seller, a Chicago family, which owns 40 Kmarts across the country. Kmart began a 40 year lease on the property in the mid 1990s but the buyer could have other plans for the property according to Ryals.
