JCR buys Signal Hill Shopping Center in Virginia

The Signal Hill Shopping Center in Manassas, VA has been acquired for $22.6 million by JCR Companies. Trading for just under $214 per sqf, the 105,781 sqf grocery anchored shopping center is located at the intersection of Liberia Avenue and Signal Hill Road. The center has a mix of national tenants including Shoppers Food Warehouse, GameStop, Glory Days Grill, Panera Bread, and Chick-Fil-A. The purchase marks JCR’s seventh shopping center acquisition and its 20th transaction since being founded in 2009. The vendor was Regency Centers. “We are thrilled to add another grocery-anchored shopping center to our portfolio and we are very bullish on the long-term strength of the Liberia Avenue corridor,” said Joe Reger, Principal, The JCR Companies. “We are aggressively seeking additional urban and suburban retail acquisitions in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
