Jena nabytek plans to open a new store at the Berounka retail park in Pilsen. The furniture retailer will lease 2,500 sqm in the park, located near Tesco on Rokycanská street. The unit was previously occupied by Gigasport, an Austrian sports chain that withdrew from its 11 stores in the Czech Republic in mid-2012. The retail park belongs to Hunter, a real estate investment fund. This will be Jena nabytek’s eighth store on the Czech market. The deal was brokered by Cushman & Wakefield’s retail warehouse team.
