The fashion retailer Kappahl improved its sales in the first quarter of the 2012/2013 fiscal year by 4.4 percent, exceeding €6m for the period. The company posted a net profit of €13.2m. “It’s too soon to say if the the uptrend will continue for the company, but it surely shows, we’re on the right path,” said Johan Åberg, head of Kapphal.
The company currently operates 54 stores across Europe. It plans to open an additional 25 new stores this year.
