Katarína Brydone was named new head of retail at CBRE Czech Republic. She will oversee and coordinate the company’s retail service lines, including investment, leasing, asset services and building consultancy as well as research and marketing. Brydone joined CBRE 10 years ago and was active in the investment division. The most notable transaction she was involved in was the acquisition of Palladium on behalf of Union Investment in 2015, the largest deal ever seen on the Czech market and the largest single-asset transaction in the CEE region. She also advised on the acquisition of Atrium Flora on behalf of Atrium European Real Estate and on the disposal of Futurum Hradec Králové on behalf of Heitman, GE Capital and TK Development.
