In a deal worth between €10m and €15m, Kaufland Romania bought the former Moldomobila building and the surrounding land, covering 64,000 sqm, in Iasi. The property is located on Bucium street. The transaction, part of a two-phase public tender process, is in line with Kaufland’s strategy to open new stores across the country. The retailer currently operates 127 stores in Romania, according to local news reports.
