Kingfisher, which took over the Bricostore DIY network in Romania in 2013, has invested €21.5m into the rebranding and modernizing of the 15 stores. The British company paid €75m for the Bricostore acquisition and it injected €6.5m of new equity into Brico Development and Brico Foncier. Bricostore reported sales of €85m for the second half of 2013, on which it made a retail profit of €1.2m.
