Kingfisher to buy Mr. Bricolage for €275m

Kingfisher, the DIY chain with operations in the UK, France and Romania, is in talks to acquire DIY chain Mr. Bricolage for €275m. The British company intends to buy the chain for €15 per share, according to the French magazine LSA. The transaction is expected to close later this year. It must first be approved by the Competition Authority. Mr. Bricolage post RON 63.2m in revenues in 2012 and a net loss of RON 11.3m.
