The real estate manager and investment company Kintyre has acquired a 5.1-percent stake in the Drehscheibe shopping centre in Bochum. Kintyre, specializing in retail and office space, has also agreed to an eight-year management contract for leasing, asset management and center management services. The property was acquired last December by a group of private investors from Deutsche Bank. The Drehscheibe shopping center offers 12,000 sqm of space and is currently 75 percent occupied by 35 tenants. The anchor tenant is the food retailer Rewe. Kintyre was advised by King & Spalding.
