As Poland’s retail market continues to develop, Knight Frank has introduced new asset management services targeting existing shopping centers. More than 5 million sqm of existing retail space in Poland is expected to be modernized in the coming years, as investors scramble to increase the value of their assets in an increasingly competitive marketplace, according to Monika A. Dębska-Pastakia, CEO and partner of Knight Frank in Poland.
Knight Frank’s new division will be led by Agnieszka Mielcarz, who recently joined Knight Frank as a head of retail asset management in Poland. “Demand from landlords looking for financial and strategic support in the face of increasing competition is growing,” Mielcarz said. “This is where we come in, making it possible for the investor to give its project a fresh start on the market.”
