Kraków City Hall is in the process of approving zoning changes for 11 plots, including locations in the Kazimierz, Stradom and Nowa Huta Przyszłości districts. The city has become one of the most active property markets in Poland: 137 land-use permits have already been granted, representing roughly half of the investment land in the city. Kraków officials point out, however, that in order to issue another 11 zoning permits, the city needs to implement some changes in the current zoning ordinances. The city has started identifying particular plots that require zoning changes.
The city hall has initiated works to release plots in Podgórki Tynieckie, Strzelnica – Sikornik, Nowa Huta Przyszłości – Igołomska Południe, Nowa Huta Przyszłości – Igołomska Północ, Nowa Huta Przyszłości – Przylasek Rusiecki, Pychowice II, Stradom, Kazimierz, Mistrzejowice ks. Kazmierza Jancarza, Czyżyny – Rejon ulicy Galicyjskiej, Ruczaj – Czerwone Maki.
