Annette Kroger was named new CEO at Allianz Real Estate Germany. She replaces Stefan Brendgen who stepped down from the position last summer. Kroger was previously head of acquisitions at Allianz RE Germany, responsible for the company’s activities on the German market as well as CEE and the Nordics. She joined Allianz in 2009 as an acquisition specialist.
This recent promotion is in line with the company’s plan to increase the percentage of women in top management positions within Allianz’s global network to 30 percent by the end of the year. Kroger is the company’s first female CEO.
