KSH: Hungary’s retail sales up 4.8% in January

The Hungarian retail volume in January was up 4.8 percent y-o-y, according to the country’s Central Statistical Office (KSH). The volume of sales, adjusted for calendar effects, rose by 3.4 percent in specialized and non-specialized food shops as well as by 3.7 percent in non-food retail shops and by 6.7 percent in automotive fuel retail, according to the data published by KSH.
