The LAGO shopping center won the German Brand Award in the “Trade, Retail and e-commerce” category. The center is managed by Prelios Immobilien Management for Union Investment’s open-ended property fund “UniImmo: Global”. The prize comes as no surprise, however, as the 27,500 sqm inner-city shopping destination already won the prize in 2016 and in 2017. Perhaps more importantly, the mall tends to score well in the annual Shopping Centre Performance Report (produced by ecostra). Having taken the top position from 2012 to 2014, the mall came in first again in 2018.
