A new shopping center called Prominent Park is being built 3 km from the Moscow Ring Road on the highway M-4 Don near the town of Vidnoe. It will cover 7 hectares of land, with the total area of the building expected to be 105,000 sqm. Parking for 2,000 cars is planned. Lenta hypermarket will be one of the anchor tenants along with electronics and appliance stores, sporting goods, and a children’s supermarket. Several new housing estates are being constructed near the area. Currently around 967,000 people live within a 10-20 minute drive. Lenta is co-investing with the Canadian firm Trinity Retail Park Partnership while financing is being provided by MDM Bank. Top Shops will lease the mall for the developer, which is to be built by JSC Eurosystem by the last quarter of 2016.
