Leroy Merlin closed its BauMax outlet in Soseaua Chitilei, as it operates a Leroy Merlin store just a few hundred meters away. Leroy Merlin took over the BauMax network last year in a deal that included 15 stores and is now rebranding those units. The Soseaua Chitilei BauMax will be closed next week, but company representatives have not decided yet if they should sell the space or use it for another purpose. The BauMax in Ploiesti will be the first one to reopen under the Leroy Merlin brand, an event expected to take place in April.
