DIY retailer Leroy Merlin has leased two retail spaces in Bucharest from the Austrian company Supernova Group, with a total area of 21,000 sqm.
The transactions were brokered by real estate consulting company Cushman & Wakefield Echinox. The two spaces are located within the Supernova Lujerului and Supernova Pantelimon projects, and have 8,300 sqm and 13,000 sqm, respectively.
“The two spaces are in key positions, in some of the most densely populated areas in Bucharest, and complement very well both the portfolio of stores that Leroy Merlin owns in the city, and the mix of tenants that Supernova intends to offers to customers by remodeling the spaces in the two commercial galleries,” says Bogdan Marcu, Partner Capital Markets Cushman & Wakefield Echinox.
