On May 4, Lidl will open a store in the newly opened shopping passage in Penta Real Estate’s expanding Churchill complex on Italská Street in Prague 8. The store will be opened six days per week from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and will serve the growing list of tenants in the project as well as the student body from the nearby University of Economics. It’s one of the new generation Lidl stores with its own on-site bakery, LED lighting, a coffee machine and offering free wifi. As well as street access, shoppers will be able to use the underground parking lot built for the complex for direct access to the store. The server mediar.cz writes that it’s Lidl’s 39th store in Prague and the second it’s opened this year. More are coming at the Bořislavka complex being built in Prague 6 on and by the Vysočanská metro station in Prague 9.
