The German retailer Lidl opened a new store in the city of Cluj-Napoca. Lidl officials said they will continue to expand in Romania and plan to have 160 stores operating in the country by February 2013. Lidl currently has 155 stores its regional network.
The retailer has 9,000 stores and 100 logistics centers in more than 20 countries around Europe.
