Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic met representatives of Lidl and discussed the expansion possibilities for the retailer in Serbia. The first Lidl store has already been built in the city of Smederevo and other 20 will follow.
The director of Lidl in Serbia Dragan Cigoja, said that in addition, a distribution center in Nova Pazova will be completed by May 2017. Over 100 people will be employed for the new Lidl stores.
