Lidl to invest €20m in a logistics center in Lugoj

Lidl plans to open ten new stores in 2016, for which the retailer allocated €20m. The German retail giant also plans to build a €20m logistics center in Lugoj. A company representative the company is continuously expanding in Romania and that it plans to maintain its current pace of growth.

The planned 45,000 sqm Lugoj logistics center will be built by Bog’Art on 140,000 sqm plot of land. This is the fourth logistics center built in Romania by Lidl in order to secure steady supplies to the company’s stores in the west of the country.
