The German retailer Lidl plans to open a second location in the city of Mangalia. The store is currently under construction and is expected to open in the second quarter of this year.
Georgiana Tugearu, PR Manager Lidl Romania said the retailer’s other location in the city, which is across the street from the new store, is not up to company standards. The new store, Tugearu said, will offer Lidl customers a wider sales area for non-food products and a larger parking lot.
According to Tugearu, the retailer does not intend to close down its other location.
