The German retailer Lidl has opened a new store in Timisoara. The company now has a total of 146 stores in its Romanian network, and operates several distribution centers around the country as well.
Lidl is one of the largest retail chains in Europe, operating 9,000 stores and more than 100 logistics centers in 20 countries. The company has more than 170,000 employees, including 3,000 in Romania.
