Logivest has brokered a nearly 3,100-square-meter warehouse space at Herseler Straße 22-24 in Wesseling, North Rhine-Westphalia, to the Harley-Davidson authorized dealer REKS GmbH.
The authorized dealer, which already operates Harley-Davidson stores in Bielefeld, Düsseldorf and Osnabrück, was looking for a suitable property for its planned flagship store, from which it could serve the Cologne and Bonn regions equally well.
Exactly in the middle between the two cities, in the Eichholz industrial park in Wesseling, Logivest was able to offer Harley-Davidson a property that met the location specifications of the authorized dealer. “The hall is located directly on the A555 federal highway, which connects Cologne with Bonn, and is also easy to see from the highway,” says Ilias Krause, Consultant Industrial & Logistics Letting at Logivest NRW GmbH. He adds, “There is virtually no vacant space or empty commercial property in this region, so we are pleased that we were able to present Harley-Davidson with the right property in a relatively short period of time.”
Interior work is currently underway, and work is also underway on the façade to create a wide glass front. The opening of the new Harley-Davidson store – the first in the completely new design – including showroom, workshop as well as a fashion store is planned for spring 2023.
