The growing political tension between Russia and Ukraine has forced Poland’s top clothing retailer LPP to reduce its expansion plans for those markets. Dariusz Pachla, deputy CEO of LPP, said the company had cut by 25 percent the amount of new space it was planning to open. Originally, LPP hoped to open 700,000 sqm of retail space in the two countries. The company is also planning to invest PLN 100m in a new distribution center.
