Luis Comas has been associated with AmRest since July 2020, when he assumed the position of President of La Tagliatella – AmRest’s flagship own brand. With time, he took over the management of another private label of the company – Bacoa. Luis Comas has over 30 years of professional experience in the restaurant and retail industries. He successfully introduced and developed his own and franchise brands in many markets in Europe and the Middle East. During this time, he worked in managerial positions for the Burger King chain, oversaw the development of Pizza Hut and KFC as general manager at YUM Iberia, as well as participated in the introduction of the Taco Bell brand to the Spanish market. Immediately prior to joining AmRest, Luis Comas was the vice president of the Alshaya Group division, responsible for managing the group’s brands in the fast casual and family dining segment in the Middle East.
