Macedonia’s GDP grew by 5.8 percent y-o-y in 2015, according to preliminary data published by the State Statistical Office. Wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, transportation and storage, accommodation and food service activities were the sectors that helped drive the country’s economy the most last year.
Consumption in 2015 in comparison with 2014 increased by 3.6 percent in nominal terms, accounting for 85.1 percent of the GDP.
