Madeleine G. Barber has been appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Tax Officer for CBRE Group. Barber will be responsible for managing and directing all aspects of CBRE’s global tax function including tax planning, provision, policy and compliance for the corporation worldwide. Barber joins CBRE from Tyco International where she was Senior Vice President and Chief Tax Officer. She has also been a partner at both Arthur Andersen and KPMG. Barber is a graduate of Villanova University and has both a JD and a LLM from Villanova University School of Law. She will be based in Philadelphia and will report to Jim Groch. “Madeleine is a successful executive who brings a wealth of expertise in tax matters to CBRE and has a record of working effectively across functions to create competitive advantage,” said Jim Groch, Chief Financial Officer, CBRE.
