The French-based DIY store chain Leroy Marlin signed a lease on 12,500 sqm at Makrum Development’s new shopping center, which will go up next year in the city of Bydgoszcz. Leroy Marlin will anchor the project. Demolition work on the site has just hit the final stage, and construction on the 9 ha site is expected to begin in the second quarter of 2013. The shopping mall, located at the corner of Kamienna and Sułkowskiego streets, will add 52,000 sqm of new retail space to the region. Investors expect the project will go online in Q4 2014.
