Businessman Marius Simion Gaga sold to the German retailer Lidl an area of 8,607 sqm of the 75,000 sqm land of the former Silvarom furniture factory in the Crângași neighborhood in Bucharest, where he is building a residential complex with over 2,000 apartments.
The transaction price amounts to approximately EUR 2.6 million, and the land for sale is reserved for a shopping center.
The residential complex will consist of 6 blocks of 7, 10, respectively 11 floors and a total of 2,073 apartments, an investment estimated by the developer at over EUR 100 million.
