The Canadian residential builder, Mattamy Homes, has acquired a 37.25-acre site in Naples for $8.7 million. The site was formerly the 200 unit Bayshore Club Apartments which is located across from the Naples Botanical Gardens at 4580 Bayshore Drive. Mattamy bought the land from an affiliate of Los Angeles-based Colony Capita which specializes in buying both distressed land as well as single-family homes as investments. Mattamy is expected to develop an apartment community on the site.
