25 January 2013

Mayland completed another phase of its Wzgórze shopping center project. “The grand opening of the expanded mall is scheduled for the fourth quarter of the year,” said Maciej Kiełbicki, vice president of Mayland Real Estate. The precise date of the opening will be announced in March.
The expansion will make Wzgórze second biggest retail project in Poland, with 70,000 sqm of leasable space. At a height of 15-meters, the mall will house 270 retail units. The project is currently 85 percent leased. The tenants mix includes Inditex i LPP, H&M, C&A, New Yorker, Kino Helios, Smyk, Empik, Simple, and Orsay. Other brands in the mall include Sephora, Douglas, Rossmann, Tally Weijl and KappAhl.
Present on the Polish market since 2006, Mayland has delivered three malls to the region: Karolinka in Opole, Pogoria in Dąbrowa and Jantar in Słupsk.
