Mega Image plans to open 40 stores by the end of the year, bumping its Romanian network to 480 locations, according to the Adrian Nicolaescu, the retailer’s head of marketing. One store is set to open in Bucharest’s Baneasa neighborhood, across from Ikea.
Mega Image was founded in 1995 and operates stores in several cities across Romania, including in Bucharest, Constanta, Ploiesti, Brasov and Targoviste. Its brands include Shop & Go, AB COOL FOOD and Gusturi Romanesti.
