Meridia Capital Partners, a leading investment fund manager based in Barcelona, has acquired a 2,270 sqm supermarket located in Terrassa. The property is leased to Mercadona, a Spanish family-owned supermarket chain. The deal was carried out through the fund’s Meridia II real estate vehicle, which now owns a portfolio of more than 20 supermarkets and is planning further expansion in the retail sector. The cost was not disclosed. Aguirre Newman advised the buyer during the transaction process.
