Forum Nová Karolina in Ostrava has been put on sale by its owners, Meyer Bergman and Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan. Hospodářské noviny writes that the current price it’s expected to fetch is around €260m, having bought the asset together with Forum Usti nad Labem in 2011 for €300m. It sold Forum Usti nad Labem in 2016 to NEPI for €82.6m. “Forum Nova Karolina is the most expensive property currently being sold in the Czech Republic,” said Stuart Jordan (Savills). The mall produced sales of CZK 2.5bn last year with footfall of around 9 million people.
